Sally's out of the boat
Jane Fleming is incensed! In today's Australian, Jane, a two-time Olympic champion, asks why Sally stopped rowing if there was no physiolocial reason for her to do so. So, why did Sally stop rowing? We'll never know what was going through her head when she put aside her oars and laid down on the job, but history dicated there was good chance this could happen. I would like to know why someone with such a history was selected to compete at an elite level, as part of a team with hopes and aspirations of Olympic medals and accolades. Shaun, like many magnanimous Aussies, says he can see Sally's side of the story. He blames the coach for telling them to go out hard and fast too early. I'll reserve judgement until Sally gets back to Australia and explains her actions to her fellow country men. I believe we all deserve a decent answer.

Why don't they have a reserve in the boat for situations like this. I mean, they could have thrown her over and the reserve moved forward to take her seat. And what's with trampolining in the Olympics anyway?
